Vintage Merle Tortoiseshell Malacca Hunt crop - Silver Collar 1905 [S O L D]

This Vintage Merle & Co ladies 20" Malacca Hunt crop has a beautiful tortoiseshell like patina. The Silver collar is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 and the makers mark is G&JZ which I think is the Zair mark.The relatively unmarked collar would polish up nicely to be engraved .The staghorn hook measures about 4 1/2" and has a smart little heel to the hilt. The original open leather keeper has survived well over its first 100 plus years but will probably not last more than another couple of seasons [S O L D]
