Antique 10 1/2 inch copper & brass Hunting Horn with a rare mark Key, Rudall & Co circa mid 1800's - in field worn condition from its 150 plus years. Stamped Key, Rudall & Co , 20 Charing Cross London which I believe dates it between 1855 - 1857 but it is unusual that it has the Key name included, that stamp was only used for 2 years. [Thomas Key ,a military instrument maker who's business was acquired by Rudall,Rose & Carte who became Rudall carte & Co in 1872] . This model of hunting horn can be identified from stock records as a "Goodison" probably pointing to the maker being Rudalls main supplier Charles Attwood Goodison , although stock was also purchased from Keat.

Rudall Carte had 3 different addresses & probably 6 different stamps.
