Miniature Hunting Horn by Henry Potter |

|
Miniature hunting horn by HENRY POTTER 30, Charing Cross London. Potter is recorded working at this address for only a short time from 1904.
Copper and brass, length 10.8 cm, width of mouthpiece 21cm, width of bell 25cm. Signs of plenty of handling, with a number of small dents, but sound.
Does not blow like a full size horn, and was perhaps presented to a commanding officer for his son in gratitude for a large order of military band instruments and band equipment which was Potter's main product.
Could possibly have been a salesmans sample
